Early 80's Scooter Rally - Looks like 1982 ?
The early 80's youtube video clip is from the Scarborough rally 1983. At 45 seconds into the clip you can see me starting up my purple Vespa 225 and sidecar combo with my brother his wife and my old history teacher. We left Birmingham a week early for this rally, me on my 225, my brother on his Vespa 100 and my ex teacher on his p200 with my brothers wife on the back. We covered a total of just over 1000 miles that week ending up at Scarborough for the rally weekend before heading off back to Brum, we travelled all over the Uk that week from Cirencester to Yarmouth before heading North to York and Scarborough we had a great week but I remember that by the time got to Scarborough we all had virtually ran out of money and only just had enough for fuel home... oh happy days.
